Not a dog mom, no, even though that is a joyful & splendid thing in and of itself.
I'm talking birth.
A child.
A life that you carry inside you, for what feels like forever but looking back you REALLY wish you had enjoyed it more.
While I was out, we got pregnant, lost the baby.
Got it right the second time, he is 13 months now-and fills me up more than a hunk of cheesecake after a 'uge pasta dinna.
